Since my childhood, I always liked very much all animals. We always hd dogs, birds and fishes at my home.
Miriam, my wife, always had dogs and cats, but preferred more the cats. She uses to say that she had cats since she can remember, and never been without them.
Otherwise, my family, liked better the dogs. Truly speaking, we didn´t like cats until we knew the Birman Cats, a special breed, cheerful, very sweet, and very similar to the dog we had, mainly as friends of their owners.
Nowadays, we live with the cats inside our house, sleeping with us, watching TV on our sofa, being with us even when we are at the computers.
When we arrive from outside, they are always waiting for us and remain at our side all the time. Even taking our bath, they stay at the bathroom matt waiting.
Today, my parents that didn´t had too much sympathy for cats, can not stay too long without seeing them.
The Birman Cats changed our lives.
I never loved a cat till I knew a Birman.
